Xander
Lily,
In a few days we will be leaving the city from which you were born. It's hard for me to understand that you won't remember much of your life here. There are things about this city that will truly be missed. I'm sure you will miss the Please Touch Museum, zoo, water ice, trains, city parks, and most of all your best buddy Xander. You and Xander have a special relationship. You play with Xander differently than you play with any other kid. You guys will scream "agoo" at each other and hysterically laugh for a long time. You chase each other around and fight like an old married couple. You hate sharing with Xander and he loves watching you react when he tries to take a toy you are playing with. However, at the same time, you two love being together. He asks for you all the time. I wish you were able to grow up together in the same city. Since you might not remember, Xander was your first friend and you guys had great times together.

Rio Stats
Rio,
You had your two month doctor visit today. You are looking good and healthy. You were not too happy with the doctor and her cold hands today but you survived it. Here are your current stats:
Weight: 12.9 pounds (77% of growth percentile)
Height: 24 inches (95% of growth percentile)
You are clearly a good eater!

Riding the train to Reading Terminal Market
We took a train into the city to go to Reading Terminal Market. Rio this was your first train ride! Lily, it had been so long since you had been on a train that I don't think you remembered ever riding one (something I wish I had taken you to do more often while living in Philadelphia). You had so much fun on the train that you didn't want to get off. It was hard to explain why we HAD to get off at a certain stop and couldn't just ride it all day. Here you are giving a sassy little pose while waiting for the train:
Kid's Day at the Lansdowne Farmer's Market
Picnic at Rittenhouse Square
Lily and Rio,
One of our favorite things to do as a family is to pack a bag of delicious food and enjoy a picnic at the park. This was Rio's first trip to Rittenhouse Square. Rio, you really LOVE being outside. You are almost always a happy baby but you really appear content when outside. You look up the trees and look like you are contemplating something very important. During this particular picnic Lily, you sported your Dora sunglasses the whole time. We kicked a soccer ball until we were sweaty and exhausted. Good times. Daddy got a little too hungry and tried to eat Rio's toes. You did not like that at all and told Daddy you don't eat toes...only food.
Love,
Mommy
