Sleep

You have figured out that sleep means play time is over for the day. You are fighting sleep with greater consistency. Generally, you are happy as can be hanging out in your bed for about 30 to 45 minutes. Then you start to get frustrated and either cry or call out for mommy or daddy. Tonight I went into your room several times to tell you to lay down and go to sleep. Here are some of your comments:

Lily: Close eyes, I see black.

Mom: Yes, that's what happens when it's time to go to sleep. Do you want the hall light on?

Lily: Yes

Lily: Mommy, Daddy eat dinner.

Mom: Yes, Mommy and Daddy were eating dinner but we are all done now.

Lily: Mommy, Daddy go to sleep.

You are always telling us we're funny. Well tonight, I think you're funny Lily but I wish you would just go to sleep.
